2001 Dodge Ram Trailer Brake Controller Wiring Diagram. I have read that someone said that the wires for the trailer are in the back in the wire for the tail lights somewere. Complete installation instructions and lifetime technical support on all Trailer Wiring purchases.
It then sends a signal out through the trailer wiring coupler to engage the trailer's electric brakes. Assignment of the fuses and relay in the IPM. Could be a not-so-smart past owner solved the problem of no brake controller by wiring the brakes to the tail lights and putting a no-blow in the tail light circuit.
I have the above mentioned truck, I bought it used, but How can I find out whether or not this wiring harness is already installed on my truck?
The location and function of fuses in cars produced earlier may differ.
I am replacing my brake controller with a new Prodigy but I have long lost the wiring diagram that shows what wire does what coming out from under the dash Ford says: White ground Dark Blue Trailer electric brake feed from brake controller (output) Light Green Vehicle stop lamp switch to brake controller. It then sends a signal out through the trailer wiring coupler to engage the trailer's electric brakes. It'll probably be a lot similar on a true truck like a Chevy or a Ford, but that's another conversation for another day.
